This is a list of bulbs that provide a decent to high amount of nector and or pollen for bees and/or butterflies.
Meaning of terms:
Light indicates the amount of sunlight a plant needs. This is devided into Sun, Partial shade and Shade.
Moisture indicates the amount of moisture a plant needs, and the range it can grow in. This is devided into Dry, Rather dry, Lightly dry, Lightly humid, Rather humid, Moist and Wet. Example: Dry, lightly humid means the plant can go anywhere from a dry to a soil that is a little moist.
Bees/Butterflies Indicates if the plant provides food for bees or butterflies or both. Bees means it can provide food for honeybees, bumblebees, solitary bees or a combination of these.
Ornamental/Natural indicates if the plant is suitable for a more natural garden or more for an ornamental garden or both.
Native or not indicates if the plant is native to the Netherlands or not.
